Laguna Beach

my trip was way too fun and way too short! i need to go back ASAP... but im glad my boss let me go... this was the funnest trip! even the work part was fun! we got to go see the remodel of our labor rooms kind of pan out. so when we finally go to our KILLER hotel rooms cheryl and i ran out to the beach to walk... it of course was super foggy and misty but we walked along anyways. we ended up getting drenched on our way to this little cove! then we went to walk to the little shops and everything closed at 6!! i was a little bent but it was an interesting walk. then we were off to the most AMAZING dinner. not only was the food great but we were with some really neat people with lots of fun stories! i almost cried when i had to leave the next day...... but it was so fun! im so glad my boss let me go! thanks Helen!

The Mona Whickers...

Jarret, my loving brother, has some hillarious kids, and since he doesn't want to blog about them, even though coleman gives him permission, i thought i would... here goes: So, this may come as a surprise, and theres nothing wrong with it... but my nephew is THE Biggest Nerd! Coleman always has his shirts tucked in, belt on, watch and hat... all he's missing is a pocket protector... Anyways a little while ago Nana bought the three 5 year olds matching shirts, Drey was so excited for the boys to wear them. So when Coleman, aka: Nerd Alert, came over drey gave him his new blue shirt. He was so excited! So i sat him down and said, "You know what Coleman, this shirt would look SO good tucked in!" and nerd then replies, "Yeah! I know! AND i just found my brown belt!!!" "Will you wear it for me to Keller's party tomorrow?" "sure" he says and starts to chuckle because i had smothered my head with a pillow in order to keep from laughing out loud. Apparently his brown belt had been missing, but with some luck he found it just in time to wear it to Kellers birthday party the next day! and by dang only the nerd would actually say that.... Unfortunately i had to go to work and i missed the debut, but don't worry, the nerd wore it for me the other day so i had to take some pictures....

and who could forget my Frenemy?... Miss Abby Lou... She's either my Best Friend, usually when she wants one of my Barbies, or my Enemy, which is 85% of the time. but holy crap she's beautiful... i love abby lou... and here's why....

one: her voice! i've told my brother a million times i hope her voice is the same when she's 17 years old! this little petite thing has the highest, shrill and LOUD voice i've ever heard come from someone her size... i especially love it when she says "Thats not a GOOD word JAMI!" which she says to 80% of my vocabulary, so fyi do not say the word SHUT around abigail...

jarret has made fun of me for years for being stubborn, bratty, spoiled and a know-it-all... lets just say i'm encouraging my frenemy to be just like me.... and my brother loves it...

and last but not least Alli... aka: Pineapple Hair! with her spikes on top of her, her hair has always looked like a pineapple to me... shes walks around like she's all big and i swear she's like the tiniest person ever... she's the quiet, sweet, just behaves herself baby that my brother thinks he can take all the credit for.... but my heck, that girl can stare down a statue... like she can see your soul ya know!? The other night as we all heard her thump to the bottom of the stairs my brother says, "knowledge bumps".... good job brother.... keep up the good work... even though your wife can take all the credit....
